[EN] Preparations day 9

Today we had a slight drizzle, but not hard enough to damage the Flamboree spirit. Who could illustrate this enthousiasm better than Team Animation, who changed to a higher gear and stole some men from other teams to prepare the opening ceremony. From what we have seen this will be most impressive, let us hope that the girls and boys sleep enough to compensate for their accumulated exhaustion after several days of intensive dancing.

The big party tent has been constructed after a morning of frenzied building. This gigantic tent will play host to parties with all 1000 participants, which in itself guarantees some fantastic nights. Next to the big tent we now have got a small tent, home to Team Food and Sales, where the subcamps can get the ingredients for their meals. Tension in Team Food and Sales has risen dramatically, the vast amount of food and nutrition they will be handling when the participants arrive is nothing less than astronomical, and checks have been run to make sure all numbers are correct.

Last but not least, the cooking team who have supplied the staff with food for the entire period of preparations have taken a well deserved break and are relieved by a new team. They will keep the staff from growing hungry for the rest of Flamboree. A big thanks to Gerard’s team, and a warm welcome to the new team.
