What is Flamboree?

Flamboree is the official international camp for scouts and guides in Flanders (Belgium). An 11 day lasting experience involving 1500 participants from all over the world.

Whom is Flamboree for?

For scouts and guides from Belgium and all other parts of the world.
Participants: aged between 14 and 18
Leaders: to accompany their group.
Internationall staff: fellow workers, helping out setting up, closing down or joining in with the overall camp organisation.

When is Flamboree?

During the summer of 2009, from 29th July up till 8th August.

Flamboree’s location.

We are based at scouting centre “Hopper De Kluis” in Sint-Joris-Weert.
Sint-Joris-Weert is situated in the centre of Belgium.

Voor giver- en jintakken vanuit België en de hele wereld.

Deelnemers: scouts en gidsen die tussen 14 en 18 jaar zijn.
Leiding: als begeleiding van je giver- of jintak
International Staff: medewerkers die helpen met de opbouw, afbraak of enkel op Flamboree zelf.
Medewerkers Scouts en Gidsen Vlaanderen: medewerkers die Flamboree helpen voor te bereiden.

Wanneer is Flamboree?

In de zomer van 2009, van 29 juli tot 8 augustus.
De opbouw begint 19 juli 2009 al en de afbraak eindigt op 13 augustus.

Waar heeft Flamboree plaats?

In het Hopper Jeugdverblijf De Kluis.
Sint-Joris-Weert ligt in het centrum van België. Meer over de kampplaats.

Participants: scouts et guides âgés entre 14 et 18 ans.
Animateurs: comme animateurs de vos éclaireurs ou pionniers,…
Staff international: collaborateurs qui aident à monter et démonter le camp ou uniquement pendant la durée du Flamboree.
